FERNDALE, Wash. — Several new, colorful murals will be popping up in downtown Ferndale soon.
The Whatcom Community Foundation awarded the Ferndale Arts Commission a “Project Neighborly” grant to install the murals in several alleyways downtown.
The City of Ferndale says the commission will design the murals and volunteers will help install them.
Community members interested in pitching in should follow the Ferndale Arts Commission Facebook for updates and volunteer opportunities.
