BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The City of Bellingham has figured out a new way for the public to provide feedback while gatherings are prohibited due to the pandemic.

A website called “Engage Bellingham” will allow people to share ideas and provide input virtually, helping to replace in-person meetings..

Depending on the topic being presented, people may share their views through comment boxes, polls, surveys, discussion boards, or other online tools.

Rick Sepler, a spokesperson for the City, says the site will replace in-person open houses, focus groups, and other public meetings until COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.
