BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Two new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Whatcom County.
The Whatcom County Health Department reports one case is a man in his 40s and the other is a man in his 60s.
The older man is hospitalized.
The department says that the case investigation is ongoing, but it appears that at least one of the cases has no known contact from a confirmed case.
Stats updated on Tuesday, March 17, by the state DOH say there have now been six confirmed cases in Whatcom County.
Statewide, there have been over a thousand cases and at least 52 deaths.
