OLYMPIA, Wash. – Employers in Washington state will soon have to give detailed wage or salary and benefits descriptions when posting a job opening.
A new state law aimed at reducing pay disparity goes into effect on January 1st, 2023.
The Department of Labor and Industries is offering help for employers to meet the new guidelines.
The department has published detailed information and examples and is offering free webinars in December, January and February.
