WASHINGTON, D.C – The Treasury Department and the Internal Revenue Service are helping eligible families get the monthly Advance Child Tax Credit.
They unveiled an online non-filer sign-up tool on Monday for families who don’t normally file tax returns.
The tool is also designed to help individuals who don’t file register for the third round of $1,400 stimulus checks.
The new child tax credit is scheduled to begin on July 15th.
