BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Another day, another phone scam.
Whatcom County Undersheriff Jeff Parks says this one targets medical offices and others.
A man claiming to be a Lieutenant from the Sheriff’s Office calls.
“It’s circulating in the medical community, calling medical offices, I believe, across the board. Whether it’s a dentist’s office or a doctors office.
The Sheriff’s Office never contacts people by telephone to collect debts or resolve warrants.
