OLYMPIA, Wash. — Washington State says more re-opening guidance is on the way that will impact the many Whatcom County and other Phase II county pumpkin patches and tree farms.
The state’s COVID information task force says more specific rules are coming soon to allow restart for activities such as hay rides, outdoor corn mazes and haunted houses.
For now, the state says agritourism operations that allow distancing are permitted as long as customers walk themselves to and from the fields.
Activities not permitted at the business include children’s play equipment, live games, farm equipment exploration, inflatable jumping houses, animal viewing, petting areas, paintball,
and campfires.
