OLYMPIA, Wash. — A new report shows which types of businesses in Washington are experiencing the most COVID-19 activity.

As of August 1st, the report from the state DOH says a total of 411 non-healthcare associated outbreaks have been reported along with 459 long-term care facility outbreaks and 53 outbreaks in healthcare settings like hospitals, dental clinics, and others..

In non-healthcare settings, the most outbreaks since the pandemic began were reported in agriculture or produce packing, food service or restaurants, food-related manufacturing, and retail.

The department plans to update this report weekly.
