PORT ANGELES, Wash. — Western Washington and southeast Alaska are about to have even greater medical helicopter transport service.

Life Flight Network is opening a new base at the William Fairchild International Airport in Port Angeles, expanding their reach and presence.

LFN says it’s the largest not-for-profit air medical transport service in the U.S., and with this new hub, they’ll be able to provide “ICU level care” to surrounding counties, while being able to respond to calls anywhere in the region.

This will also cut down response times and add to current air support services.
