BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The Port of Bellingham installed new information signs at Squalicum Harbor.
The seven signs along the harbor promenade provide answers to frequently asked questions like, “What type of fishing boat is that?” and, “What islands am I looking at across Bellingham Bay?”
Commissioner Bobby Briscoe says the new signs showcase the importance of the fishing industry to Whatcom County and provide educational value about how and where seafood is harvested.
A public unveiling ceremony will take place on November 1 at 5:30 PM.
