BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The City of Bellingham announced Thursday that the Mayor’s Arts Award is back on after a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19.

You have until December 31st to nominate local artists, businesses, or really anyone who’s contributed to the arts in the community.

Mayor Seth Fleetwood says it’s especially important this year because we need to honor the hard work and perseverance shown by artists and organizations who worked so hard to adapt during the pandemic.

A date for the awards ceremony will be announced this spring.
