BELLINGHAM, Wash – A Bellingham nonprofit serving people with disabilities is raising money to renovate their space.

The GoFundMe campaign created on behalf of the Max Higbee Center has already raised more than $36,000, but they still need more.

The center provides all-inclusive recreation programs for teens and adults with developmental disabilities.

They recently moved into a new space in downtown Bellingham, and they want to raise money to help pay for necessary accessibility updates, as well as a full kitchen, reception area, and a quiet activity room.
