LYNDEN, Wash. — The Northwest Washington Fair is officially a go.

CEO Chris Pickering says state health officials have given them clearance to open the fair with an attendance limit of 9000.

He says daily attendance during a typical year ranges from 15,000 to 25,000.

They don’t expect restrictions on grandstand events at this point but Pickering says they’re preparing plans in case that’s necessary.

Tickets to the 10 day fair from August 12th to the 21st are already on sale.
