BURLINGTON, Wash. — An Oak Harbor man is dead after colliding with a semi in Skagit County Tuesday afternoon.
The State Patrol says Jason H. Lynch was speeding south on Higgins Airport Way near the Skagit Regional Airport just after 3:30 when a semi going north tried to make a left turn and hit Lynch’s car.
Semi driver David A. Espedal of Arlington was not hurt.
Lynch was pronounced dead at the scene and his passenger was treated for his injuries.
Troopers don’t believe drugs or alcohol were involved.
