WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. – Officers arrested a naked woman from Lynden Thursday after she crashed her car into, then started trashing a local school.
Just before 7am, Whatcom County dispatch received a report that 20-year-old Anna Hanson had driven away from a family member’s house without clothing.
Minutes later, Hanson drove her car through the front doors at Meridian High and crashed into the wall on the opposite side of the building.
Deputies found Hanson, still naked, vandalizing the classroom and breaking windows with an oversized mallet.
Crisis negotiators successfully convinced Hanson to surrender after an hour of negotiations.
Hanson was booked into Whatcom County Jail on suspicion of burglary and malicious mischief.
Damages were estimated at $100,000.
