FERNDALE, Wash. — One person is dead and a man is facing vehicular homicide charges after what troopers believe was a DUI crash on the Lummi Reservation early Wednesday.
The State Patrol reports 29-year-old Logan Carmona of Blaine was driving on Lummi Shore Drive near Haxton Way at 5:30 A.M. when he missed a curve and crashed into a slough.
The car was completely submerged upside down.
A passenger, who hasn’t been identified, was killed while Carmona was injured and taken to the hospital.
