BELLINGHAM, Wash. – One man is sent to the hospital and another is in jail after a robbery Tuesday night near Bellingham’s Waterfront Tavern on Holly Street.
A man tells Bellingham Police he was pepper sprayed and beaten before his cell phone and wallet were stolen just before midnight.
Medics took him to Saint Joseph Hospital.
Police say they used the victim’s description to track down and arrest Eliezer Figueroa not far from the tavern after a short foot chase.
