SNOHOMISH COUNTY, Wash. – One tribal officer was rescued but another remains missing after a Tulalip Department of Fishing vessel capsized in Puget Sound near Everett Tuesday night.
The officers were conducting an investigation when their craft was hit by a rogue wave just before 9 p.m.
Tribal fishers assisting in the search found 39-year-old Officer Shawn Edge near Hat Island after he drifted for several hours.
The search for the missing 29-year-old officer continues but Tulalip Police don’t believe he survived.
