CUSTER, Wash. – A man is in serious condition at PeaceHealth Saint Joseph Medical Center after a Custer School Road fire.
Assistant Chief Joe Noonchester with North Whatcom Fire and Rescue said firefighters arrived to find “an RV and a mobile trailer and some vehicles parked close by that all were involved in the fire.”
An ambulance took Robert Stenger to the hospital.
The cause of the fire at 8181 Custer School Road isn’t known.
The Fire Marshall’s Office says damage is estimated at about $7,000.
