BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A new resource center aims to address the affordable housing crisis in Bellingham.
The Bellingham Housing Cooperatives Resource Center opens this Saturday at 221 Prospect Street.
The BHCRC takes the form of a publication library, PDF archive, and an online discussion forum hosted on Facebook.
Community members concerned with rising housing costs in Bellingham created the center to offer a space for exchanging information and resources to support the formation of local limited-equity housing cooperatives.
