WASHINGTON, D.C. — Over 80 products containing hard-boiled eggs have been recalled for possible listeria contamination.

Almark Foods expanded its December 20th recall to include all hard-boiled eggs manufactured at the company’s Gaineville, Georgia facility, including all retail, pillow pack, pouch pack, frozen diced, and protein kit products distributed nationally.

Included in the recall are brands such as Egglands Best, Great Day, Kirkland Signature, Lucerne, Simple Truth Organics, and a variety of other brands and packages of hard-boiled egg products.

Eggs that you boil yourself are safe to eat.

Customers who have purchased these items are urged to immediately discard them or return them to their place of purchase.

The list of the recalled items is available on the FDA recall site.
