BELLINGHAM, Wash. — As students start moving in this week and the City’s Waypoint Park has gone blue, the traditional “Paint B’ham Blue for WWU” celebration has gone virtual.

The main Paint celebration starts online Wednesday at 7pm with a musical performance by Beverly Crusher, a special interview with Nathan Cox, creator of “Bellingham State of Mind (featuring Rashawn Scott),” and much more.

The on and off-campus “Blue for WWU” decorating contest will be judged Tuesday with the winners announced Wednesday during the online event.

Students are invited to submit a selfie showing WWU Blue Pride to be included in the virtual mosaic to be featured unveiled on the Paint site Wednesday.

And alumni are invited to send words of encouragement, support or advice for incoming students on the Paint website.
