BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A man hid under his bed to call 911 after a pair of burglars broke into his Valencia Street home.
Bellingham Police Lieutenant Danette Beckley says officers arrived at about 5:30 Monday morning as the victim ran from his home and found the two suspected burglars also leaving the residence.
Officers arrested Anthony Lee Beckwith without issue, but he then tried to kick an officer.
The jail is working to get a positive ID on the second man, who gave the name Lucas Jerome Cooke, but did not have identification.
The second man fought with officers and both face resisting arrest and burglary charges.
