CHELAN, Wash. — A 40-year-old Idaho man died while paragliding in Eastern Washington Sunday.
The State Patrol reports that Ryan McRoberts took a paragliding jump off Deer Mountain near Chelan, but then landed uncontrollably on Highway 97.
It’s unknown why he lost control of the paraglider.
He died at the scene.
