POINT ROBERTS, Wash. — One of the best Whatcom County parks to whale watch is losing its dock.
Whatcom County Parks and Recreation announced they will remove the public dock at Point Roberts’ Lighthouse Marine Park this week.
The department says the dock is showing potentially dangerous wear and tear, so it’s being removed for further inspection of its condition.
They do not yet know when the dock will be reinstalled.
