BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The director of Bellingham’s Parks & Recreation department is retiring.
After 25 years with the city, Leslie Bryson will retire on January 3.
Mayor Kelli Linville has selected Nicole Oliver to be the Interim Parks and Recreation Director.
Oliver has been a City of Bellingham employee for over 20 years as a project manager, supervisor and strategic planner working in several other city departments before joining Parks & Recreation as the Development Director in 2016.
