BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A Bellingham man was sent to the hospital after an SUV crash on Marine Drive near Hoff Road Wednesday morning.
Troopers responded when the SUV that 27-year-old Taleisha Bob was driving crossed the center line and hit a power pole in the opposite ditch at about 6 AM.
Passenger Emmanuel Azeke was taken to PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center for his injuries.
Bob’s SUV was impounded and she was cited for vehicular assault, driving on a suspended license, and driving without an ignition interlock.
The State Patrol believes Bob was driving under the influence.
