OLYMPIA, Wash. — Nearly 3,600 pounds of ready-to-eat beef pastrami products are being recalled due to possible underprocessing and inadequate curing.

The USDA says Agri Star Meat and Poultry in Iowa received a consumer complaint about discoloring, but hasn’t gotten any confirmed reports of illness.

The two pastrami products have “EST. 4653A” inside the USDA mark of inspection and were shipped to Washington, California, Florida, Illinois and New York.

You’re urged to throw the products out or return them to the place of purchase.
