BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Like so many other businesses, Bellingham’s largest health care provider has felt the financial strain from the COVID-19 crisis.
PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center Executive Director Charles Prosper says postponing non-urgent medical procedures and a reduction in ER patients has disrupted the hospital’s finances.
But all services are being offered again.
He says there have been no lay-offs at the hospital due to financial difficulties during the outbreak.
And he stresses people should not put off getting medical attention for any reason.
