EVERSON, Wash. – The Washington State Patrol has released more information about a fatal accident in Everson on Tuesday, March 15th.
Trooper Jacob Kennett said on Twitter that officers were called after witnesses saw a pedestrian kneeling in the middle of SR 9 near George Rd around 11:30 am.
A semi driving south changed lanes to avoid hitting the person.
However, the person lunged into the semi’s trailer.
They were pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators have not identified the pedestrian.
