Your personalized license plates are good to go.
The Whatcom County Auditor’s Office wants local drivers to know if they receive a letter dated August 4th, 2021, saying their personalized plates are going to be cancelled, they should ignore it.
Thousands of vehicle owners across Washington State have received the letter, incorrectly stating their plates have been transferred to another vehicle.
The letter was generated by the Department of Licensing and they are working to fix the problem moving forward.
