FERNDALE, Wash. — Phillips 66 is donating time, money, and resources to local organizations responding to the pandemic.

A spokesperson for the company confirmed they donated a total of $50,000 Monday, including $25,000 to the Whatcom Community Foundation Resilience Fund, and $12,500 each to food banks in Ferndale and Bellingham.

Employees from the Ferndale refinery have also been volunteering to support Whatcom County’s response with a total of about 400 hours so far.

In March, Philipps 66 made significant monetary and in-kind donations to the county Emergency Operations Center.
