BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Authorities have released photos of a person of interest they believe is linked to the killing of a man found in a Blaine park last week.
The Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office identified the victim as 67-year-old Thomas Flood of Island County after they found his body near Samiahmoo on April 7.
Flood’s vehicle was found abandoned in Fairhaven early April 8th.
Security footage shows a person driving the van on April 7, then patronizing the AM/PM gas station at Airport Drive and Bennett Drive.
The Sheriff’s Office is still investigating and asks anyone with further information to contact them.
