SEATTLE, Wash. — While the Alaskan Way viaduct is torn down next to them, some artistic vendors at Pike Place Market in Seattle have been gathering up bits and pieces of it and turning them into artwork and jewelry.
KOMO reports some restaurants are also offering viaduct-themed specials for chowing down on while viewing the demolition.
Bavarian Meats is offering a “Wrecking Ball” sandwich, while Pike Place Market Creamery recommends their crumbling goat cheese.

If you want a good view of the ever-disappearing viaduct, head on down to Pike Place Market where you will have some of the best views of the demolition starting now through the beginning of July.https://t.co/wyEkex1Bhg
