BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A plan to address accessibility in Whatcom County is up for public comment online.
Whatcom County Public Works has created a transition plan to make all public facilities in public right-of-way areas ADA accessible.
This includes sidewalks, curb ramps, pedestrian pushbuttons and other public facilities.
The county invites the public to review and comment on the plan through March 31.
