OLYMPIA, WASH. (AP) – Two people are hospitalized with minor injuries after their plane crashed in Olympic National Park.
The state Department of Transportation says search crews found the plane Sunday night near Mount Jupiter after getting the Cirrus SR22’s emergency locator beacon signal.
The plane hit a 5,000 foot ridge in the park hours earlier.
The pilot and passenger have not been identified.
Federal investigators are looking in to what caused the plane to go down.
