SEA-TAC, Washington – Flames were seen coming from a Hawaiian Airlines plane as it landed in Seattle Tuesday night.
“We see your left engine is on fire, and the fire department will be out any second,” a Sea-Tac Airport air traffic controller said, according to control tower audio onĀ LiveATC.net.
The fire went out right after the plane landed — extinguished by the Airbus A330’s fire suppression system.
The FAA, airport, and airline all said nobody was injured. There were only two pilots on board at the time.
