MOUNT VERNON, Wash. – Mount Vernon Police have made an arrest in connection with a shooting that injured five people.
An investigation has determined that three juvenile gang members got into a fight with a rival gang inside the Mount Vernon Walmart Sunday night, July 17th.
Five people were shot, including a 76-year-old customer and a 24-year-old store security guard.
Investigators identified three suspects and searched two homes this week, where numerous firearms and other evidence was recovered.
One of the suspects turned themselves in and was booked into the Skagit County Jail.
The two other juvenile male suspects remain at large.
