PORT ANGELES, WASH. (AP) – A suspicious vehicle report near Port Angeles leads police to guns and a large amount of drugs.
Officers say the driver led deputies on a chase and ran away after crashing the vehicle Sunday, but was later found breaking into another vehicle.
The Peninsula Daily News reports a 26-year-old Port Angeles resident under investigation as a suspected drug dealer was arrested.
A search of the car the suspect was driving turned up four guns, more than two pounds of heroin, just under a pound of methamphetamine, 20 cellphones, dozens of car keys and about $9,000.
