A Renton man is in jail after allegedly killing his family’s pet rabbit and stabbing their dog.
KOMO news reports a woman told police her husband posted a photo of their dog in a bathtub covered in blood on his Instagram.
King County Sheriff’s deputies responded in the 14000 block of 145th Avenue Southeast and found the family’s rabit dead in the backyard. It was burned in the fire pit.
They also found the 5 year-old black lab in the bathtub with more than a dozen stab wounds, including some from a pitch fork.
The dog was taken to the hospital and is recovering at a shelter now.
The 37 year old man fled the home when police arrived but was caught and is now in the King County Jail.
