BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A possible threat against Sehome High School Tuesday was quickly resolved and the school assures staff, students and families that the school is safe.

Students alerted school staff about an Instagram post that Assistant Principal Marty Atkins says was purposefully ambiguous and scared the students.

Police were able to quickly track down the student responsible and resolve the situation.

Atkins applauds the students that came forward and says the district is proud of them for taking action.

He didn’t specify details of the post or any action taken against the student.
