BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Bellingham Police are looking for a suspect in an assault investigation from the standoff with protesters at the City Hall tent encampment last month.
The police department posted photos of the suspect on social media and asked for the public’s assistance in identifying them.
The suspect appears to be a young woman with black, braided hair.
Photos show that she was wearing a University of Washington sweatshirt during the protest.
BPD also released bodycam footage from that day, which shows the suspect shouting at and attempting to spit on officers.
