BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Bellingham Police are searching for a person accused of firing gunshots in the South Hill neighborhood.
In a statement posted on Twitter, police said that at least eight shots were heard near South State Street and South Bay Trail Tuesday afternoon, February 8th, around 4:30.
Witnesses say the suspect fired a rifle over the water before leaving the area.
The suspect, described as a white male, was last seen wearing a black coat and black hat.
Anyone who may have information about the suspect is asked to call 911.
