BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A man is in stable condition and two people are in jail after a stabbing in Bellingham Sunday evening.
Bellingham Police say an officer was flagged down a block from the Lighthouse Mission after a 50-year-old man was stabbed in the back.
Officers identified the man and woman suspected in the stabbing as Jon Paul Landry and Cassidy Dawn Neff.
A Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office K-9 deputy knew the area where the two were staying and assisted several officers in tracking down the suspects in a wooded area off Locust Road.
Both Neff and Landry were arrested late Sunday for first degree assault.
