SEDRO-WOOLLEY, Wash. — A popular Sedro-Woolley gathering place will close its doors for the last time this weekend.

The Woolley Market on Metcalf Street will close permanently on Saturday.

The business opened in 2014 and transitioned away from being a market to a venue for live music last fall.

Then the coronavirus pandemic hit.

Owner Rebecca Winship told the Skagit Valley Herald the decision to permanently close was difficult but there is no indication of when the county’s Safe Start phase or the state’s rules will change.
