BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A popular Bellingham trail is back open after a landslide forced the county to close it to visitors.
Crews closed the Hertz Trail at Lake Whatcom Park about a week ago after a landslide occurred around the 1.25-mile marker.
Whatcom County Parks crews have now completed clearing debris from the trail and it is fully open and unrestricted.
