Port Angeles Coast Guard helps woman off cruise ship

PORT ANGELES, Wash. — A 67-year-old woman was medically evacuated from a cruise ship off Port Angeles.

The Coast Guard says its Port Angeles helicopter crew hoisted her safely from the cruise chip Ovation of the Seas Thursday evening after she suffered symptoms of a heart attack.

The call came in around 8:30 PM and the aircrew was diverted from training in Neah Bay.

They made it to the woman just after 9.
