BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Nine COVID-19 deaths have now been reported in Western Washington.
Whatcom County Health Department COVID-19 Incident Commander John Wolpers says there still haven’t been any cases confirmed here, but that could change.
One person is currently under investigation and self-quarantined at home.
Results from that patient should come back sometime Wednesday.
Wolpers says people should stay calm and contact their primary care doctor if they do become sick.
