BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Roads were closed in downtown Bellingham Monday afternoon while fire crews investigated a possible gas leak.
Bellingham Fire reports that the Bellingham Municipal Court building located on C Street was evacuated around 2:30 and all streets around the building were closed off.
At about 3:30, the fire department posted an update on Twitter and said the court was “back in business” and streets were open again.
At that time, Cascade Natural Gas and Facilities Management personnel were still trying to find the cause of the odor.
