PUYALLUP, Wash. — Another “Net Nanny” operation in Western Washington led to the arrests of twenty-one men this week.
Q13 reports the State Patrol’s Missing and Exploited Children Task Force launched the sting operation targeting potential sexual predators who indicated they wanted to have sex with a child to an undercover officer posing as a child.
State Patrol Lieutenant James Mjor tells KOMO they arrested the men when they arrived at the meeting location.
“They came there with intentions to rape a 13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8-year-old kid, and they met us,” he said.
The men were from various cities including Bremerton, Auburn, Port Orchard and Seattle.
